Tips on Buying Cars: good deal on new rogue?, nissan dealers, nissan dealer
QuestionHi,
We are in the process of haggling for a new Rogue and I wanted to see if their latest offer was a good deal. The MSRP with factory accessories is $22,260. They've offered $20,725. That, basically, is saving me TT&L. Is that a good deal or should I keep bartering? Thanks!
AnswerThe best you can do with Nissan dealers in my area is $500-$1,000 off MSRP, so I'd have to say you've got a pretty good deal. But is there only one Nissan dealer in your area? What are other Nissan dealers advertising? A dealer would be a fool to advertise a price that their competition could easily match or beat, so the advertised prices are almost always their best deal. If no one else is advertising a Rogue for that price (hot vehicle right now), I don't think you have to shop any further.
