Tips on Buying Cars: Lease turn in, answer link, dents
QuestionI recently turned in a Saab lease. I had the dealer check it out and he wrote "no damages at turn in" on my lease turn in check sheet. I received a lease end inspection for $800 dollars for small scratches and dents that were not there at turn in. Even the pictures on my inspection sheet are poor and do not show much. They inspected the vehicle almost a month after I turned it in. Within that month the vehicle was moved from Michigan to Ohio. I do have pictures of my car the day I turned it it, but do not have the same angles as they do. What is the best way to handle this?
