What are the most reliable car brands out there?

Well that depends on who you ask... everyone will tell you a different story about different brands - I generally say honda/toyota if you are buying anything made prior to the year 2000. Nissan and Mazda after 2002-2003 (excluding nissan titan)... Ford and GM both have a few models  that are showing poor reliabilty and some that show good reliability... it really depends on the specific model and year..

You asked a very general question and I gave you a general answer - if you would like more specific information.. give me a vehicle type - small SUV, sports car, etc.. and I could better help you. There are so many makes/models - it is impossible to tell you to buy this or that brand.. as each brand has good and bad models..
