Tires: 2002 Chev G1500 Cargo Van, predominant reason, work purposes

I'd like to install a larger tire on this van for work purposes. OEM spec is P215 75R15, Can I install an LT235 75 R15 and not hamper steering? If not what do you recommend. Van is used on pavement for Bakery deliveries.

I am not a fan of using LT metric tires in place of P metric tires - and vice versa.  The predominant reason is that to get the same load carrying capacity, you have to use higher pressures - on the order of 15 psi.  This dramatically degrades the ride quality.

I would use a P235/75R5.  Frankly, I think these vans needed this - and more.
