Tires: Tires, bridgestone dueler a t revo, 2007 gmc sierra

I have a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup.  It is a crew cab, is 4wd and has a Z-71 package.  I need a new set of tires and am trying to decide whether a P-metric tire or an LT tire should be used.  In shopping local tire dealers, I have received mixed opinions.  I do both highway and off road driving. The tire size is 265/70/R17.  I am looking at a Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2 tire as it is receiving excellent reviews.  Thank you for your help sir.

I am not a fan of using LT metrics in place of P metrics - and vice versa.  The reason is that you have to use more inflation pressure in LT metrics to carry the same load.

General Motors equipped your truck with P metrics, and I suggest you stick with that.
