Can I use factory 2004 maxima tires for a 2004 impala.

A 2004 Nissan Maxima came with a variety of tire sizes - P245/45R18 and P225/55R17.  A 2004 Chevy Impala also came with a variety of tire sizes - P225/60R16 and P235/55R17.  As you can see there is only one size that might be close - the 17", and because the Maxima has a smaller size, I would not recommend doing that.  That would be going down in load carrying capacity and that increases the risk of a load related tire failure, which sometimes has tragic consequences.

AND

It was a little unclear but if you are also considering the wheels as part of the changeover, the Nissan uses a 114.3mm bolt circle and the Impala uses a 115mm bolt circle, so the wheels can't be interchanged.
