Tires: dodge coronet, dodge coronet, dodge royal

I have a 55 dodge coronet and a 55 royal lancer custom what size tires would I use on them. the rims are 15 in. thanks

A 1955 Dodge Coronet originally came with 6.70-15's on 4.5" rims or 7.10-15's on 5" rims, both inflated on to 24 psi.

A 1955 Dodge Royal Lancer originally came with 7.10-15's on 5" rims inflated to 24 psi.

There are 2 answers to your question:

1)  If you want to authentic tires, then Coker Tire sells bias  tires in the original size.

2)  If you want to use modern radials - well, the tires that fit a 4 1/2" rim are too small in load carrying capacity.  But a 205/70R15 does fit on a 5" rim.
