Tires: How big can I go without lifting my Durango, dodge durango slt, stock tires

QUESTION: I have a 2000 Dodge Durango SLT 5.9L Full time 4x4 with stock running boards.
The stock tires are 31x10.50R15LT
How big can I go with out getting a lift kit for it?

ANSWER: Kyle,

 Due to the running boards you are maxxed out in your tire size.  Even with a lift of 4" the running boards, especially, on the front axle, may cause you problems.

QUESTION: What would I have do to go with 32's???

 I wouldn't think that you would encounter any problems with a 32" tire even without lift.  However. my concern with the 32" is availability.  32" tires are hard to find and most manufacturers are discontinuing the size.  That is why I didn't mention it.
