Tires: RV Trailer Tire, rv trailer, trailer tires

What does this code mean?  "DOT 20S4"?  The tire is a Maxxis and I have been told that is manufactured in Taiwan.?.  What do I need to know about these tires? Thanks, Carol

Carol,

 The code you gave means nothing.  Most likely the full DOT is on the opposite side of the tire.

 Maxxis is an overseas company that builds tires in many different locations.  Somewhere on the side of the tire, maybe near the bead, the origin of production is stamped.

 When it comes to trailer tires Maxxis builds a fine product.  I have sold and installed them without any problems.
