Tires: can I use another tire size, season tires, snow tires

I currently have all season tires on my truck.  The size is P275/65/R18.  I have to get snow tires because the law was justed passed that they are mandatory.  Am I able to use another size tire on my truck for example 265/70/18?

 The two tire sizes that you mentioned are comparable in overall diameter.  A P265/70R18 is slightly smaller and could affect your speedometer and transmission shift points.  I don't see a problem but, it wouldn't hurt to contact your car dealer.
