I want to convert a 8.50x16.5 tire to metric in 16" lt truck tire

LT245/75R16.  Just be sure to use the same Load Range and inflation pressure.

Oh - and just to be sure.  You are aware a 16" tire will not fit on a 16.5" rim - right?  People have been killed doing that - so I just want to be sure you know that!
