Tires: compatibility, vw rims, vw passat

Can i install BMW tires to a VW Passat? can you tell me if they are compatible?

If you mean "Can I install BMW tires and rims on a VW Passat?", then the answer is "No!  The rims have a different bolt circle."

If you mean "Can I install BMW tires on VW rims, and then install them on the VW?", then the answer is maybe.  "Yes!", if the BMW tires are the same size as the original tires on the Passat.  "No!", if they are different.
