Tires: what will fit my 16x8 rim?, mud terrain tires, gmc 1500

I have a 98 GMC 1500 1/2ton that has 16x8 rims and I am wanting to get some new mud terrain tires. What are my options on mud terrain tires that will fit the 16x8 rim?

I’m sorry, but in order to answer your question, I need to know how big the fenderwells are on your vehicle.  The folks that measure that sort of thing think the information gives them a competitive advantage, so they don’t share.

I suggest you contact Discount Tire or Tire Rack.  They both do those sorts of measurements.
