Tires: psi level, psi level, placard

I  just  put  a  set  of  BFG`s  285/70/17 on  my  Dodge Quad. The  tires  say  Max. PSI @  65  lbs.  What  would  you  recommend  the  pressure  be  at  for  normal  driving?

In order to answer your question I need to know what the original tire size and the pressure Dodge specified for that size.  That can be found on a placard which is usually located on a door post or in the glove box.

I have a book that shows this type of information, but there are so many versions of your truck, I don't know which one applies.
