Tires: tire size different than recommended, vehicle manufacturer, carrying capacity

Hi,  I was curious if it is okay to put a set of tires sized at P205/65R15 when the recommended size is P205/55R15 for the vehicle.  Thanks!  Liz

The load carrying capacity is OK, as is the width of the rim, so there are only 2 questions unanswered.

1)  Is there enough room in the fenderwell?  That's a question I'm not going to know the answer to, however someone else who has the same vehicle as you might be able to!  Look for a web site devoted to your vehicle.  

2)  Will the ABS be affected?  I've heard that there are some instances where it does, but brakes is outside my area of expertise.  I would consult with the vehicle manufacturer.
