Tires: type of tires, proper inflation pressure, snow traction

Wondering what type of tire is best for a 2001 Dodge Caravan and what is the best air level..30 pounds for instance?
The van carries P215/70R15now..
I'm in Canada by the way.

Bob,

You should look for your placard which will show the original tire size and the proper inflation pressure for that size.  Howevr 3 to 5 psi over that pressure will help tire wear, durability, steering response, hydropalning resistance, snow traction, and fuel economy with only a bit of increase in ride harshness.

As far as what type of tire?  An all season, but you are going to have to decide what works best for your situation among the tires available.
