QuestionI really dont know if this falls in your expertise? However I have a 750 Katana..I took it out for a ride last week, I parked my bike..... In the Am..I went to the bike, and there was no power? My battery has been checked and is holding a load....Unfortunately, service departments are to busy preparing vehicles for the season..
I really am confused as to what may have ooccurred, if this isnt in your realm of expertise, perhaps you can lead me to thge right Expert.....thanks in advance
AnswerCould be a loose battery connection. Even just something not "rock solid tight" could cause this.
Just because a battery has a charge doesn't mean it can hold it or use it to start the bike. It could be the battery is shot, it also could be your regulator/rectifier system (charging system) isn't working.
Check your wiring, battery connections, and try using a voltmeter to read charging output. Pull the battery, take it in somewhere and have it tested.
