on a new tire would it be safe to plug a hole? if so how do recommend doing it?

It is possible to plug tyres and it all depends where the hole is.  Is it one in the side wall, or the area which has the most contact with the road surface.  I have tyres plugged in the past, by going to a motorcycle tyre fitter.  They should have the plugs
