Motorcycle Safety & Driveability: Fuel Stabilizer, suzuki dl650 v strom, fuel stabilizers

Hi Paul - I have a brand new Suzuki DL650 V-Strom.  It is parked in my sisters garage and I live in another state. I come and visit once a month and ride the bike.  Do I need a fuel stabilizer if I am riding it even only once a month?

Normally, we look at Fuel Stabilizers when we are planning to store the bike for more than 90 days.  This is also inline with many Fuel Stabilizers' recommondations.

I think riding the bike one a month can safely eliminate the need for a fuel stabilizers.  

Check your owners manual to be certain (We say that so we can't be held liable if it turns out that we gave the wrong advise)  :)
