QuestionI am looking to purchase a mercedes c-300 4matic sedan, anywhere from years 2009-2012. I want the best deal I can get (obviously) but I don't know how much off the sticker price I should expect to get. I want to put $3000 down and I'm hoping to get 4 or 5 for my current car, but I'm not sure I'll get that. Soooo I want all costs to be under 30,000 (ideally, I would like to finance 22,000). What do you think, sticker price wise, to make this happen?
AnswerHi Ashley,
First let me say I am happy you made contact before the fact and not after looking for how to get out of a jam, I therefore like to guide you through the process getting fair value.
Your Q branches out to many avenue's,,, Sticker price wise,,, I would have to compare market value, condition, days in inventory, history etc. As for your trade I don't have a clue what you got or have you arranged finance or want dealer finance ?
Lets do this, find a Mercedes of interest, test drive and if interested let the salesperson work you a deal " but don't commit " and get back to me with details, I will make sure it's not a lemon and you getting fair value for trade.
In the meantime study my site for some pointers,,, start with this one http://www.usedcartips.org/TRDE.html to understand how a trade works, after study, anything that you don't fully understand I will be here for you.
Have a Blessed day
