Question2000 toyota camry, I think LE.
Never been wrecked, no stains or tears to inside.
No damage to outside. Has a broken door handle on the back right passenger door. Still works though.
200k miles. It's been driven to California and back several times in the past 5 years. (Live in Alabama)
Automatic. Clean title.
Wants $2200 for it.
Advice?
AnswerHi Desi,
When you buy a car in the $2000. range all that matters is present CONDITION that will outlast your investment, and that means if this car can be driven more than one year with no issues your investment will have been secured.
If you want to follow in my footsteps here they are if I was considering purchase.
Test drive and knowing what to look for becomes the first step,,, go to this link on my website and make notes http://www.usedcartips.org/TESTDRI.html
If vehicle is still of interest after test drive you want an independent mechanical inspection performed that will cost you a few bucks, if seller will not allow, you must walk away.
Please study the website, and any further questions that may pop up please feel free to get back to me for answers.
