Used Cars: 1997 GMC Sonoma 4X4, buy

I am looking to buy a 1997 GMC Sonoma 4X4. The truck runs and drives great but it has 174,000 miles on it. Do you think it is worth taking the risk of buying the truck? The previous owner took really good care of the truck and majority of the miles are highway miles.

It's hard for me to say if worth the investment as you did not state a price or location

We are dealing with a truck going on 13 years old, miles don't come into play " condition " is the main factor, here is how I would proceed should I be interested to purchase.
