QuestionI bought a car on Saturday 1/31/08 from a dealer, had 1200 miles on it, they said it was a lease turned back in or something. 2 things they quoted me 21,000 as the price, paperwork I signed says I paid 23,000 before taxes etc. On their website the car is still up there for 21,000. I didn't realize when I was signing the difference in price b/c they throw so much at you and every price is different on every form.
Also I found out now checking car fax the car was in an accident 6 months ago, front end damage as well as airbag deployed. Did they have an obligation to tell me this?
Do I have any recourse?
AnswerHi Amber
I had a little problem reading into your question when you posted 2008 by mistake as I now realize the 1/31/09 falls on a Saturday.
Your question has got my interest, there are many things you did wrong, and not knowing where your located as the laws differ from state to state, along with I would like some details about the bill of sale you signed.
Let's do this if you want to persue the problem further, leave me a phone # and best time to call and make sure you check the " make private box " so your phone number will not go public.
