Used Cars: 1998 pathfinder, tie rod, front ends

I have a 98 pathfinder that moves violently left to right when I drive over a pothole in the road at speeds of 55 mph or more, I replaced the front struts and sill have the same problem.

Get it checked out with somebody who is good with Front ends.  And I would do it rather quickly, it sounds like you have a tie rod end on the verge of breaking, and that would be pretty dangerous.  I can not tell you over an email what is wrong, you really need to have somebody look at it who knows what they are doing.
