QuestionI don't have a lot of money right now but need a different car. Been driving a
Volvo 940 for 15 years, live in MN and want FWD, so between Volvo 850R 1996
140m, Jetta AT 1990 94m, Corolla "98 4 cyl124m, and Nissan Sentra GXE
'9962m, which do you think is the better car? (Assuming all pass CARFAX
report)
AnswerYour in a good situation, because all of those cars are good cars, and I think pending a carfax report and mechanical inspection, I would choose the one you like best. I always tend to have a preference to the newer stuff so if I had to rank them it would be corolla and sentra 1 and 2, in the event something happened it would probably be cheaper to work on the Toyota and Nissan vs the Volvo and Volkswagen. If fuel mileage was top priority, I would choose the corolla, if I could sacrifice a little fuel mileage for a fun driving car, I would choose the sentra. The nissans do pretty good gas mileage but the toyotas still edge them out, but the Nissans are a lot funner to drive. In the end, go with YOUR gut feeling.
