QuestionI'm looking for a used Volvo v70 AWD R. Is it reasonable to
expect to see service records for a 98/99/200 model? I'm British
and back in the UK most people wouldn't touch used Saabs and
Volvos without seeing what work has been done. The dealers I've
been talking to so far don't have any service records at all, and
seem to think it's crazy I should want to see them. Any tips?
Thanks in advance.
AnswerHi scyld
I agree with the dealers , if i was looking to buy a vehicle being that age my only concern would be present performance,
What good are service records from the past if vehicle have had major problems 4 months ago and seller trying to unload
There are steps to follow when buying a used car and you will find them at my website http://www.usedcartips.org/
