Questioni'm in canada, i dont know where you are or what the laws are in your area. whenever i see an ad for a car, it says "not safetied", "will safety", "as is"
first off, whenever a vehicle is changing owners, it must be safetied?
when someone says "not safetied", that means he will not safety it? and i would assume "as is" is the same thing?
AnswerHi Sk
I happen to be in Canada also...
If a car says AS IS that means it has not passed a safety and cant be driven on the road till certified...dont ever buy a vehicle AS IS unless you know beforehand cost for safety...make conditional purchase subject to your own mechanical inspection...check my website for some details
