Trucking: New Weight Rules, marc stewart, company safety

Question
I have heard that the DOT is going to make a new rule about drivers weight.  I was told that starting in July 2010 that all drivers must not be more than 10% over there "ideal" weight.  Is this true?

Also, is a new rule going to start about having 10 years of experience before you can solo?

Marc, I have not heard of either one of these new rules.  Here is link to current rules.

Check with your company Safety Officer as they should be aware of any pending changes.
