Trucking: US DOT Number, fmcsa, dot gov

I have a DOT number on a vehichle I own , I am adding another vehichle. Do I need another number or can the same number be used for multiple vehichles?

Les, the DOT number is assigned to the company not the truck.  The DOT # needs to be displayed on all of the trucks running under the companies authority.
