Trucking: base plates, base plates, fair deal

Question
I am considering leasing on with a company and have the option of either using my own base plates,(which I don't have at the present time) or getting them from the company. What are the pros or cons to either.

Buddy, any time you sign a contract look for the out clause.  What happens if it doesn't work out?  If you got your base plates through the company I assume they will charge you for the service but can you keep them if you terminate the contract.  If you are satisfied that it's a fair deal there shouldn't be any advantage or disadvantage to going either way.
