Trucking: Hotshot with rental trucks, rental trucks, moving trucks

Well if I understand what hotshot is. What would be the issues with renting rental household moving trucks to run loads?? Too expensive to the customer?? Not the tright kind of truck for hotshot runs?? Thanks

Hi Lin, You are confusing the term, Hotshot.  This means pulling a flat trailer with a large  pickup truck to haul mostly automobiles.  You are thinking about Expidated hauling where the loads have to run as quickly as possible.
Renting trucks would be expensive unless you had a regular run and leased long term a truck for the run.  Good Luck. J P Long
