I AM FROM SOUTH LOUISIANA AND I WANT TO BUY A HOT SHOT TRUCK.  WHAT
TYPE OF TRUCK DO I NEED?  WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST WAY TO START UP THIS
BUSINESS?  ANY INFO WOULD BE HELPFUL.  THANKS....

Hi Ivan.

Check out some of my previous answers on Hot Shots.  I would look for a dually, diesel truck.  The type of truck depends on what you are going to haul and for who.  I would start looking into leasing out to a Hot Shot Trucking company and learn the ropes before going out on your own.  Go thru the yellow pages and start calling trucking companies for information.  Drivers are in a big demand and they'll be happy to talk to you.  Also, go go www.bubbajunk.com and www.classadrivers.com for help.
