Trucking: Insurance needs, motor carrier number, insurance minimums
QuestionWe have a Dodge dually with a gooseneck trailer, total weight including load will not exceed 26,000 pounds. Do we need a DOT number, motor carrier number, to do interstate work, do the same rules apply for intrastate? What are the insurance minimums if we have to get the above numbers?
