Trucking: LLC?, megatrux, payroll issues

My husband is a team driver for MegaTrux.  We are considering purchasing our own tractor to lease on instead of driving for an o/o.  For liability, taxes, payroll issues, should we consider forming a LLC?  Or something else that would protect our personal assets?  Thanks for your time.

In order to run a successful business, an LLC is the best way to go. You might want to consider a PC program to track your expenditures such as www.pbstax.com , www.hammerlane.com, or www.blairtax.com. they will also help you to form an LLC ant the same time. Mike
