Hi Byron.

Dumps is a good business.  I would talk to other owner-operators in the area and pick their brain as much as you can.  A good book is "How to Start & Manage an Independent Trucking Business: A Practical Way to Start Your Business" by Jerre G. Lewis and Leslie D. Renn.  You can get it on Amazon.com.  Read it and start to write up a business plan, then go from their.
