Trucking: dump truck, dump truck business, cdl class

I was thinking of starting a dump truck business, and was wondering what are some of the top states to start abusiness in dump trucking...I have been a truck driver for 8years cdl class b, want to change up and be owner

Hi Torry.

There are great dump opportunities throughout the US.  Being near a big city always helps because of new developments, new buildings and new roads.  I have a few friends doing great in Chicago.  Drivers in the Northeast do good too.  Florida doesn't have great pay, but plenty of work.  Wherever you end up, I would be just outside a big city, or one that has a lot of new construction.
