my friend and i are interested in starting a business. he is currently owner operator of 2 tractors. a kw and and intl. we need info on how to obtain our own rights and other info on what we need to know to start the business. thank u so much.233q2

You need to get your DOT/MC numbers and IFTA.  Sites like www.dotautority.com can help you or contact your state's Department of Transportation.

Also, look into incorporating and find a good accountant that knows the trucking industry.  If you get stumped, go to www.ooida.com for help.
