Trucking: failed drug screen, alcohol test, motor carrier

I failed a drug screen 3 years ago .How long will it take for me to get a O.T.R. job again if ever. Thank You

Hi Troy, The regulations state "a motor carrier must have a
report from an SAP showing that the driver has been evaluated and may return to work. The driver must also pass a return to duty controlled substances or alcohol test that complies with all of the requirements of parts 40 and 382." Good Luck.  J P Long
