do you need a cdl to drive a 4000 gallon water truck in arizona

Hi Tanya, I am certain one does need a CDL Class B to drive this truck. The Federal Regulation, which also applies to private companies, defines a Commercial Vehicle as a motor vehicle used to transport property and has a gross vehicle weight rating of 26,001 pounds or more.  Regards, J P Long
