Trucking: company name, bob stephens, trucking company

Yes how would you suggest that i go about getting my company name legally. Who is it that you can go through. Mr. Stephens i enjoy reading your answers that you leave for others lots of help to me and im sure others. thanks again

Hi Jonathon.

The way I did it was go to a local lawyer that specializes in Corporations.  Look in your local yellow pages.  You can also go to sites like www.legalzoom.com and they can help you out.  I prefer being face to face.  Then, if there is a problem, you have someone local to call and see.  If your starting a trucking company, the next step would be to contact your state's Department of Transportation.
