Trucking: help, phone jockey, small business administration

looking  to get a grant so i can buy a truck and trailer but no clue  where????????? need it asap  so i can start my own trucking bussness

Hi Lin.

I am not aware of any Grants to start a trucking company.  That's not to say there isn't one.  I would start by contacting the Small Business Administration (www.sba.gov).  They may be able to help you get started in trucking.  It's an involved process, but worth it in the end. You can also check with www.grants.gov.

I would also contact your state's DOT office and Washington's.  Don't settle for a phone jockey, try to talk to someone with some pull!
