Truck Repair: 1988 4x4 blazer, 4x4 blazer, inertia switch

Question
The engine shuts off when the left rear wheel is raised up about 1 foot.  Fuel Pump is good, is there a inertia switch that will cause this, also the blazer runs fine as long as it is on level ground.

Hi Rick, That doesn't sound like a common problem, but I do know that the ground for the in-tank fuel pump is on that left frame rail, near the tank.
Something also might be hittion a wire, or pinching a hose.

There is no inertia switch like Fords have.
