Truck Repair: 6 wheel pickup, truck camper, axle kits

Hi Eric. I am interested in getting an extra set of wheels put on say a 1500 truck. I will be carring around a truck camper.I do not like duall'ys,too wide. who would be more than quallified to handle this project and can you estimate a price....thanks mike

I am assuming you want to add a tag axle on the truck for weight handleing ?  If this is the case then seek the help of tractor trailer mechanic in your area -- one with experience in air lift axles --- Dexter is an example of a company that makes axle kits --- The cost of a project like this will be around $1500.00
