Say Dave,
If you end up replacing the pump, I have seen the wires loose inside the tank, where the connector hooks to the top of the tank unit. The rivets get loose, and melt the plastic cover.
And another point. If you need to get into the tank unit, it is often easier to remove the bed bolts, and lift the bed and move it to the rear about 18 inches. Easier than dropping the tank sometimes, believe it or not.

Van,
The truck gets spark it gets fuel even when I pour gas in the carborator it wants to turn over. I hooked it up to a machine and it's reading no codes okay to drive. Any Ideas on what could be wrong.
Thanks Dave
AnswerHi Dave,
I would say it is either not getting enough fuel from the injectors....should be 13 PSI at the throttle body, or what is being injected may be water. Can you catch some of it and see?
You are probably pouring good gas into the throttle body.
