Truck Repair: breaks F250 de. stand. 1999 ext cab, slamed, ext cab

daughter slamed on the breaks, now she says it feels like the emergency break is set but the pedal is not depressed and she says she can hear a slight grinding noise. It has ABS but I am not sure if it is front and back or just front. What can I tell her  to do since she does not live near me.

She sould take it to her local brake shop, most will do a free brake inspection, and most are pretty honest (big chain ones).  I personally would get it checked asap, brakes aren't something you want to be bad.  let me know if I can help further. MIKE
