Vintage Cars: Thermostat Location 84MB 380SL, radiator hose, thermostat

Can you tell me where the thermostat is located and how difficult is it to replace. Thank you

top of engine as top radiator hose dives into block.  Easy to do as long as the bolts are good - spray with PBblaster or other , remove, replace.  Careful to keep T stat orientation correct and you may loose some rad fluid, obviously do when cold.
