Vintage Cars: 1924 dodge, hot rod, dmv

hi  i bought a 1924 dodge cab w/ title that i made into a hot rod  went to the dmv ill. and they want me to bond it because it does not have a vin tag . didn't back in the 20s
they went with motor no. thank you  john

I'm very surprised that there was no VIN tag on your car - most all manufacturers put one on the car somewhere, even back in the early days of the industry back in the 1900s-1910s.

Bonding is probably your only option at this point, with no identification on the body at all.
