QUESTION: I have just had restored a 1971 Mercedes Benz 250C. All new, repaired or replaced mechanicals. Stripped to bare metal, primed and repainted. New headliner, carpets and upholstery.
The vehicle was taken to Oahu, Hawaii every year on a Matson liner for six months and then returned to the West Coast for six months. It had sat in storage for seven years when I purchased it.
Are you aware of any online site that may contain information regarding a pre-VIN vehicle with a 15 digit vehicle identification number?
Regards - Frank
ANSWER: Sounds like a great car, I just finished a 72 220 and a 72 450
