Vintage Cars: 1976 Stinray, bloomington gold, gold website

bought a 1976 from a dealer. checking numbers and I've only found 2 item not to be the original. How can I find out who 1st bought the car?How many owners?And if the mileage is the actual mileage?

There's a tremendous amount of info on the 'Net when it comes to Corvettes; you just have to devote some time to do the research.  If you're concerned with originality, then I'd start with the Bloomington Gold website:

This show is devoted to original and restored Corvettes that are accurate to the last detail; you can actually lose points here by over-restoring a car.  Check out their Links section for further help.  You should also search for discussion groups and forums devoted to the C2.  Here's one to start with:

Like I said, lots of info out there, you just have to dig through it all.  Joining discussion groups and forums is usually your best bet for going forward with this.
