Vintage Cars: Dodge motor, theus, mopar

My dad has found an old Dodge motor it was my uncles and he passed away he was a Dodge collector. Anyway the motor says on the block F 440 Dad has never seen or heard of it and were trying to find out anything Thank You for your time                                Corey Theus

For now, I'll have to assume it's a 440 V8, built sometime between 1966 and 1978, and that's about all I can tell you.  Search the Web and track down Chrysler/ Mopar sites that have forums dedicated to this engine, and ask your question there.  They'll need more info, but they'll be able to answer any of your questions.
